communications.

• XTNDAccess by Extended Systems enables you to utilize the

infrared abilities of your ThinkPad notebook by allowing you to con-

nect to a parallel printer, transfer files to another computer, or even

connect to an Ethernet or token-ring LAN via infrared signals.

• These wireless infrared connections work like your television remote—

a beam of infrared light transfers your ThinkPad notebook’s or WorkPad

PC companion’s commands and feedback quickly, easily and reliably,

just like a wire connection.

The NoteSaver fits the security port built into all ThinkPads. The

Compu-Lock’s TravAlert Mobile Alarm helps protect your com-

puter from theft while traveling. TravAlert provides a unique, electronic

motion sensitive alarm for use in airports, train stations, restaurants,

etc. TravAlert is motion sensitive to everyone but the owner. If anyone

besides you attempts to pick up your computer bag, the TravAlert

105-decibel alarm will sound automatically.

TravAlert has two battery-operated components: a control unit and

a remote alarm unit. The alarm unit hangs on your computer bag

(weighs 3 oz); the remote fits in your pocket.

TravAlert can also act as an intruder alarm for your personal protection.
